From September 2016, our ‘new’ uniform must be worn by all Year 7 and 8 students:
- Grey jumper or cardigan with Central Academy logo;
- Charcoal grey trousers or skirt – must be tailored (no ‘skinny’ jeans, leggings or lycra skirts);
- White shirt or blouse – tucked in and top button must be fastened;
- Clip on grey/red tie.
For students in Years 9-11, they may continue to wear black jumpers and red/black ties if they have them. However, if they need to purchase new jumpers/ties, then only grey will be available from the uniform shop. Y9-11 can wear black trousers/skirts, but these must be tailored, as described above.
All students must wear BLACK POLISHABLE SHOES.
It is our policy to maintain high standards of dress at all times. We are strict about uniform and students will not be allowed to attend lessons if they are not wearing the correct uniform.
The Academy has a no jewellery rule, with only a wrist watch allowed.
