180 places are available in each Year Group based on our curriculum model. 

Cumbria County Council administers admissions for students from 11-16 years of age in the same way as for other local schools.  Information and application forms will be made available through primary schools in September for completion and submission in October in their Year 6.  Those offered places will be notified in the following March. 

Although applications can be made for students wherever they live, priority for places will be in line with the criteria as detailed in the Admissions Policy.

For in-year admissions, please complete the In-Year Admissions form available below and send to the address below.  The Academy will deal with in-year applications within 10 school days.

Unsuccessful applications have the right to appeal.  If you would like to appeal, please complete the Notice of Appeal Form below and send to the Academy at the address below.
