As a school, we use a management information system hosted by Arbor. One you download the Parent Portal and Arbor App you can register your child for a club or trip, book parents evening slots, and manage payments all from your phone or computer. You can also check in on their child’s attendance, behaviour and progress.
The main types of reporting to parents are through regular progress checks. You will be able to find out:
1. how your child is performing in relation to his/her potential
2. your child’s strengths and any achievements
3. how your child is performing in relation to the rest of the class and national standards
4. whether your child is happy and has a good attitude for learning
5. specific targets for the future
Throughout the year staff will complete two types of report:
- Attitude to Learning – This is a half-termly report for all year groups using the codes below:
Attitude to Learning Codes
A1- Outstanding Students
A2- Good Students
A3- Coasting Students
C1- Wake Up Call Students
C2- Targeted Students
C3 - At risk Students
• Assessment Point Reports – these aim to give a currently working at grade and should indicate the grade a student would achieve where they to sit a GCSE examination in the subject at that time.
