The Hub provision at Central Academy will be closing on Thursday 16th July. We will not be running the Hub provision on Friday 17th July.

08/06/2020 - KEYWORKER SUPPORT INFORMATION

As you are aware secondary schools are planning for re-opening from 15th June, when we will be welcoming back our Year 10 students. Hub provision will continue, however we have to continue to ensure that we follow all government guidance and this includes staggered starts and ends to the school day.

Therefore from Monday 15th June, Hub students will attend from 8.30 am to 2.00 pm. When your son/daughter arrives at school, students must queue outside following our social distancing markings. Staff will then take them into the building and escort to the Hub area. At 2.00 pm they will be escorted back to Reception, where they will sign out and leave the building. This will ensure that they will have no contact with our Year 10 students. In a similar way Hub students will have their break and lunch in a separate area from Year 10. Students will be required to wear school uniform from Monday 15th June, although they should not wear ties or lanyards.

Should you wish your son/daughter to leave before 2.00 pm, please collect from our main Reception, otherwise they will be dismissed at 2.00pm as stated above.

If you are a keyworker and require support, please email keyworkersupport@rrca.org.uk no later than 2pm the day before you require the Hub. If you are able to make requests earlier than this, please do so.
