🌆 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟭𝟬 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁- 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗹 🌆 𝘎𝘦𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘺, 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘮 Today, we took 50 brilliant Year 10 students to Liverpool to investigate one of our key case study locations we study on the GCSE Geography course. From a walk around the urban regeneration in Anfield, to Chinatown to understand the impacts of migration on the city- students engaged well, bringing this case study location to life. We moved down into Liverpool One where we examined the importance of the CBD of the city as well as the importance of urban greening projects like Chavasse Park in the heart of these major cities. We finished off the day with a walk through The Albert Dock and a ferry along the Mersey, investigating the impacts of regeneration in urban Brownfield sites.
