A Warm Welcome to Central Academy

💼 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟭𝟮 𝗣𝘄𝗖 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 💼 On Thursday last week, a number of Year 12 students had the amazing opportunity to visit PwC's Edinburgh office for a day of learning about Professional Services and life in the workplace. Activities included: hearing from Actuaries about their working life, teamwork and problem solving activities to develop their communication skills, Q&A panel about career journeys, and a talk on the future of GenAI in the workplace! A student on the trip said: "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘞𝘊 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘱 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘧𝘶𝘭. 𝘉𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘱 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘯 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘫𝘰𝘣 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘥. ☀️ 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 ☀️ With the high temperatures forecast for this week, we have made the decision to temporarily remove blazers from our uniform for all students. 👔 Students are still expected to attend school in white shirt (tucked in), Central Academy tie and dress pants (black or grey). 🚫 There is no expectation for students to wear or bring their blazers to school. 🚰 Students are reminded to keep well hydrated, a refillable water bottle is recommended.
