π⃝ 𝕎𝕠𝕣𝕝𝕕 ℙ𝕚 𝔻𝕒𝕪 π⃝ 𝟯.𝟭𝟰𝟭𝟱𝟵𝟮𝟲𝟱𝟯𝟱𝟵 On Friday lunchtime, Y12 maths students ran a number of activities in celebration of World Pi Day (Saturday 14th March), otherwise known as 3.14 in America! Students had a great time taking part in: π⃝- Guess the flavour Pie - won by Daniel A (Y10) π⃝- Recite the digits of Pi - won by Matilda S (Y10) who recited an impressive 99 digits! π⃝- Draw the perfect circle - won by Aidan Z (Y7) π⃝- Take a Pi Selfie 𝗛𝗮𝗽-𝗣𝗶 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀! #maths #piday #pi

🌼 𝕾𝖕𝖗𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖔 𝖘𝖈𝖍𝖔𝖔𝖑 🌼 💯 𝔄𝔱𝔱𝔢𝔫𝔡𝔞𝔫𝔠𝔢 ℭ𝔥𝔞𝔩𝔩𝔢𝔫𝔤𝔢 💯 This morning, we drew the first 𝕾𝖕𝖗𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖔 𝖘𝖈𝖍𝖔𝖔𝖑 attendance challenge draw of this half term. We had 6⃣6⃣3⃣ of our fantastic students in the draw, all of which have achieved 100% attendance and no lates to school this week. Our live draw winner for this week was 𝗟𝗲𝗼 𝗗 (8IKY) who won a £ASOSSOS gift card! We also announced our tutor group prize winners, ⬆️ This week’s biggest improvement in attendance was won by 𝟭𝟯𝗠𝗪𝗗. 💪🏼 🔝 Our top performing tutor group for this week was won by 𝟵𝗕𝗗𝗘. 👏🏼 Well done everyone, and enjoy your snacks! 👏🏼 Don’t forget to be in next weeks draw… all you need to do is attend school everyday, on time! #SpringIntoSchool #100%Attendance #AttendanceChallenge #PrizeDraw

🩺 ＮＨＳＮｅｘｔＭｏｖｅ 🩺 👩‍⚕️ 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟭𝟬 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 & 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 👩‍⚕️ This week, a wonderful group of year 10 Heath and Social Care students headed to Manchester, to take part in an NHS Careers event. Hosted by the Manchester United Foundation, the students had the opportunity to explore many different career paths and specialisms in the NHS. From cardiology, audiology, Vascular team and so much more. Huge well done to the students, a fantastic insight and will support them perfectly as they take on their next unit of coursework. #NHSNextSteps #Ambition #Respect #Resilience
