A Warm Welcome to Central Academy

🏫 𝕋𝕣𝕒𝕟𝕤𝕚𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 ℂ𝕒𝕞𝕡 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟞 🏫 1️⃣ Day One We have had a fantastic first day of our Year 7 transition camp here at the academy. Activities today included some get to know me icebreaker activities in our morning session, followed by a sporting activities including; dodgeball, cricket and rounders. Lots of great engagement throughout the day as we continue to welcome the newest members of the central family. 🏫 𝕋𝕣𝕒𝕟𝕤𝕚𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 ℂ𝕒𝕞𝕡 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟞 🏫 Monday 17th- Wednesday 19th August 10:00am - 2:00pm We look forward to welcoming our new Year 7 students who have signed up to join us for our transition camp Monday- Wednesday next week. Registration will be open from 9:45am on Monday, with camps running from 10:00am until 2:00pm each day. A reminder that lunch is provided each day, students will need to attend in sportswear and bring with them, suncream, a hat and water bottles for each day. We ask any student who require medications (inhaler’s etc) also bring these with them each day. Our transition camp is always a fantastic event and proves fantastic to support our new students with making the step up to Central in September. ✉️ 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟭𝟭 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 ✉️ 📆 Thursday 20th August 2026 ⏰ 8:30am - 11:00am We look forward to welcoming our Year 11 students into the academy on 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 to collect their GCSE and BTEC results. The academy will be open between 𝟴:𝟯𝟬𝗮𝗺 and 𝟭𝟭:𝟬𝟬𝗮𝗺, with entry to the building via main reception on Victoria Place. There will be staff available throughout the morning to support with Sixth Form applications and other careers advice.
