🏫 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 🏫 🕯️𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘔𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘋𝘢𝘺 🕯️ This week we have been commemorating the victims of the Holocaust in assemblies led by our Year 13 Holocaust Education Ambassadors: Erin, Jasmine, Harry and Kieran. Holocaust Memorial Day takes place on the 27th January every year. We must ensure this event is never forgotten. It is vital that lessons about prejudice, discrimination and the importance of respecting all people are learned and applied in the world today. 🎭 𝕐𝕖𝕒𝕣 𝟙𝟛 𝔻𝕣𝕒𝕞𝕒 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕣𝕖 🎭 Lowry Theatre visit- To Kill a Mockingbird On Wednesday 21st January our Year 13 Drama & Theatre students viewed a production of Harper Lee's famous 'To Kill a Mockingbird' at the Lowry Lyric Theatre in Manchester. An outstanding production that had the audience on the edge of their seats throughout. Our students will now get to work on their critical evaluations as theatre makers in preparation for their summer exam. Viewing Live Theatre is a necessary feature of GCSE Drama and A-Level Drama and Theatre - one we are thrilled about!
