Each of our teams faced a selection of quiz questions, posted by our host Mr Sisterson, earning points for each question they answered correctly… all of which whilst eating a super sour toxic waste sweet! The challenge was won by team Hadrian, with Precious, Rosie, Amelia and Dayana answering 5 questions correctly. 🔵 Thank you to Victoria, Musarad and Evie who represented house Luguvalium, answering 3 questions correctly during the quiz and Joel, Charlie and James who also answered 3 questions correctly for team Valentia. An audience vote nominated team Luguvalium for extra bonus house points after the team managed to keep the straightest faces throughout the quiz despite the sour sweets! 🔴 This leaves the standings table at... 🏫 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 🏫 🕯️𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘔𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘋𝘢𝘺 🕯️ This week we have been commemorating the victims of the Holocaust in assemblies led by our Year 13 Holocaust Education Ambassadors: Erin, Jasmine, Harry and Kieran. Holocaust Memorial Day takes place on the 27th January every year. We must ensure this event is never forgotten. It is vital that lessons about prejudice, discrimination and the importance of respecting all people are learned and applied in the world today.
