🤝 𝓜𝓤 𝓕𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓟𝓻𝓲𝓶𝓪𝓻𝔂 𝓟𝓪𝓻𝓽𝓷𝓮𝓻𝓼 🤝 ⚽️ Year 5 and 6 Football Tournament ⚽️ At the beginning of July we held our final partner primary schools football tournament of the school year. We are had a fantastic afternoon of football with children from Pennine Way, Houghton and Newtown all visiting us for a brilliant mixed gender football tournament. There was a lot of fantastic sportsmanship and skill on show and in the end it came down to Pennine Way & Houghton in the final. In a great final with two great teams, it was Pennine way who walked away with the trophy ready to defend in the next school year. The afternoon was managed fantastically by a number of our year 9 sports leaders’ who also took on the unenviable take of officiating the games. 🖥️ 𝕊𝕥𝕖𝕡 𝕦𝕡 𝕥𝕠 ℂ𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕣𝕒𝕝 🖥️ 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘚𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘕𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘵 A few weeks ago, Year 5 students from primary partners Norman Street Primary School visited us for our ‘Step into Central’ event with Mrs Thompson in Computer Science. The children had a great time coding which ended with the children determining which house they would belong to in the world of Harry Potter!
