A reminder that students need to arrive to the academy by 𝟴:𝟮𝟱𝗮𝗺 to be on time for school. ̲K̲̲e̲̲y̲ ̲e̲̲v̲̲e̲̲n̲̲t̲̲s̲ ̲t̲̲h̲̲i̲̲s̲ w̲͟e̲̲e̲̲k̲ 👩‍🏫 Assemblies this week- Safeguarding (Mrs Rigg), 💪🏼 House Challenge (Monday break), 📚 Proud Thursday (Thursday lunch), 🏫 Year 6 Open Evening (Thursday 4pm - 7pm). ̲H̲̲o̲̲m̲̲e̲w̲͟o̲̲r̲̲k̲ ̲r̲̲e̲̲m̲̲i̲̲n̲̲d̲̲e̲̲r̲ All students will have their first round of weekly Sparx homework due before school on Monday. A reminder that all students in Years 7-11 have weekly goals to complete on; Sparx Maths, Sparx Reader and Sparx Science. 🏟️ 𝕐𝕖𝕒𝕣 𝟟 𝕄𝕌 𝔽𝕠𝕦𝕟𝕕𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 𝕋𝕣𝕚𝕡𝕤 🏟️ Year 7 Old Trafford visits- October We are delighted to share the key information for our ever popular Year 7 visit to Old Trafford in October. Parents and carers should have received a letter from Mrs Nelson on Friday with all of the key information about these visits. A reminder that this trip is open to all students in Year 7 with absolutely no cost! Is this trip just for Man United fans? Absolutely not! This is an amazing experience for everyone! We ask that parents and carers make note on your child’s day and complete the online consent information- this needs to be completed by Friday 25th September 2026. Homework completion so far this week has been excellent, with our Year 7 students dominating the completion charts! 🙌🏼 Regular home learning is an important part of making progress, building confidence and developing strong independent study habits. A reminder that all students in KS3 and KS4 (Years 7-11) have weekly Sparx homework for Maths, Reading (English) and Science set on a Monday, due to following Monday. Don’t forget… ✅ Complete every task ⏰ Meet your deadlines 💯 Aim for 100% completion 🙋 Ask your teacher for support if you need it Small amounts of focused work each week can make a BIG difference.
