Mr Markham would like to welcome the parents / carers of year 5 students to join our coffee mornings on Wednesday 8h and Thursday 9th July at 9.15am. This is an opportunity for you to have a tour of the Academy facilities,  to meet our students and staff and get a feel for a typical working day at Central. Mr Markham will give a presentation on his plans for Central moving forwards and there will be the chance to talk to key members of staff from the pastoral, SEND and primary transition teams.
 
As these events are during the school day, they are for year 5  parents / carers only not year 5 children. In September our full open evening will give students the chance to come in and experience all we have to offer.

We are delighted to announce that this year, the percentage of our students who achieved a Grade 4 or above in both English and Maths, increased to 62.2% with many students performing above their expected grades. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ ย  It has been absolutely amazing to see so many of our students signing up to continue their journeys with us at Sixth Form from September, with record numbers of sign upโ€™s from across the year group. Activities today included transforming the academy into a Christmas wonderland as we designed cards for our 2026 Central Christmas card. ๐ŸŽ„ With plenty of sunshine, we managed to complete a range of sporting activities in session two, with dodgeball, cricket and rounders all on the menu for our different groups! ๐Ÿ The camp was concluded with our rewards assembly were we distributed awards to students whose engagement and effort had stood out throughout the camp. ๐Ÿ… A huge thank you to Mrs Barnsley for her organisation leading up to and throughout the camp, our spectacular student ambassadors for their support throughout the camp and our brilliant staff team for giving up their summer to support our Year 7 transition. ๐Ÿ’™ Year 7, you have been fabulous and we cannot wait to welcome you to the Central family fully in September!
