⚽️ 𝓛𝓮𝓽 𝓖𝓲𝓻𝓵𝓼 𝓟𝓵𝓪𝔂! ⚽️ 𝒫𝓇𝒾𝓂𝒶𝓇𝓎 𝒮𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁𝓈 𝐹𝑒𝓈𝓉𝒾𝓋𝒶𝓁 In partnership with the Manchester United Foundation and #LetGirlsPlay we were proud to welcome over 100 female players from our local partner primary schools to the academy on Friday. Girls from Houghton, Pennine Way, Norman Street, Newtown, Brook Street and St Margaret Mary’s primary schools joined us in the sun for a great afternoon of football. KS2 girls took part in 7v7 matches as well as Manchester United ladies team themed skill stations that would all contribute to a final points total. Stations ran by our amazing female sports leaders, an incredible day for so many aspiring footballers! Huge congratulations to Norman Street Primary School who retained the trophy with Houghton and Pennine way who closely followed on the points table 🏆 A massive shout out also to our fantastic sports leaders for Year 7, 8 and o who were amazing in supporting the running of the event throughout ❤️ #CentralCommunity #Aspirations #GirlsFootball PrimaryPartners MuFoundation
🧑‍🌾 𝓢𝓾𝓼𝓪𝓷’𝓼 𝓕𝓪𝓻𝓶 𝓿𝓲𝓼𝓲𝓽 🧑‍🌾 𝐸𝓍𝓅𝓁𝑜𝓇𝑒 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝐸𝓃𝑔𝒶𝑔𝑒 𝑔𝓇𝑜𝓊𝓅 Another brilliant couple of weeks at Susan's Farm CIO with our Explore and Engage group! We’ve been making the most of the sunshine while keeping up with farm tasks like packaging eggs, as well as getting hands-on in the kitchen making apple crumble and learning where our food comes from. This week, the group also visited Aglionby, where they took part in pond dipping and explored the surrounding woodlands. Pupils showed curiosity and enthusiasm as they searched for and collected natural items such as bones, skeletons, and feathers. Back in the woodland, they worked together to identify and classify their findings, learning more about different habitats and the wildlife that lives there. The group has continued to grow in confidence, build positive relationships, and demonstrate great teamwork each week! #Ambition #Resilience #Respect
I like the school because there is no bullying and the teachers help you when you are stuck with your work Year 7 Student
