🏫 𝕋𝕣𝕒𝕟𝕤𝕚𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 ℂ𝕒𝕞𝕡 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟞 🏫 3️⃣ Day Three and Rewards🏅 We have had a brilliant final day of our 2026 Transition camp today! Activities today included transforming the academy into a Christmas wonderland as we designed cards for our 2026 Central Christmas card. 🎄 With plenty of sunshine, we managed to complete a range of sporting activities in session two, with dodgeball, cricket and rounders all on the menu for our different groups! 🏏 The camp was concluded with our rewards assembly were we distributed awards to students whose engagement and effort had stood out throughout the camp. 🏅 A huge thank you to Mrs Barnsley for her organisation leading up to and throughout the camp, our spectacular student ambassadors for their support throughout the camp and our brilliant staff team for giving up their summer to support our Year 7 transition. 💙 Year 7, you have been fabulous and we cannot wait to welcome you to the Central family fully in September! ✉️ 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟭𝟭 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 ✉️ 📆 Thursday 20th August 2026 ⏰ 8:30am - 11:00am A reminder that we are looking forward to welcoming our Year 11 students into the academy on tomorrow to collect their GCSE and BTEC results. The academy will be open between 𝟴:𝟯𝟬𝗮𝗺 and 𝟭𝟭:𝟬𝟬𝗮𝗺, with entry to the building via main reception on Victoria Place. We will have staff available throughout the morning to support with Sixth Form applications and other careers advice. 🏫 𝕋𝕣𝕒𝕟𝕤𝕚𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 ℂ𝕒𝕞𝕡 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟞 🏫 2️⃣ Day Two Day Two of our transition camp has been such a cracker not even the rain could put a dampener on spirits! Activities today included our camp favourite the egg drop challenge- with two teams from 30 managing to build a device to save their eggs! Alongside drama activities, academy tours and some sports, briefly so due to rain. It has been a delight to see new friendships flourishing between our students, as well as brilliant attitudes and manners throughout. Tomorrow see our third and final day… with Christmas coming early to Central! Before we round off a great week with our rewards assembly. Activities today included some get to know me icebreaker activities in our morning session, followed by a sporting activities including; dodgeball, cricket and rounders. Lots of great engagement throughout the day as we continue to welcome the newest members of the central family.
